Spawned by trading a Decaying diremite fang Key Item to the ??? at the south-west corner of (K-7)

 ADDED NOTES FOR THIS NM
 Tarsal Slam: Conal attack that reduces HP to 1. Ignores shadows. Resets target's enmity. Usually used during Meikyo Shisui. Follows with a regular attack to try and kill the target before resetting hate.

Please also take note you will have all needed to have done this

Starting the quest will allow you to use the warp NPC in Port Jeuno to teleport to this maw. If you enter with no Traverser Stone, and do not start the quest, you cannot use the NPC to warp to the Cavernous Maw for this Abyssea area until you start the quest.

All the above quests need to have been started . I can't stress the importance of doing this-
